"I'm endorsing Representative Alan Dick because as a majority member he is able and willing to carry legislation supporting Rural Alaska. He was a great help in getting my Alaska Native Language Bill SB130 passed on the House floor. His testimony before House Finance was riveting. With Native languages disappearing every year, this important bill sets up a process for combining efforts to maintain our Native languages.
Alan has long experience in Rural Alaska and our Bush Villages as a teacher. He has seen first-hand the everyday problems that villages struggle to overcome.
